Xeomin and Letybo in Waterbury, CT

Wrinkle treatment in a medical clinic, from a board-certified provider who treats your face as part of your health rather than a product line.

A Medical Setting, Not a Storefront

These are prescription medications. They should be administered by a licensed medical provider who takes a history, understands your other conditions and medications, and is there afterwards if you have a question. That’s the difference between having this done at a clinic and having it done somewhere that treats it as a retail transaction.

What We Offer

We treat frown lines — the vertical lines between the eyebrows — with two products.

Xeomin

A purified formulation containing only the active ingredient, without the accompanying proteins found in some other products.

Letybo

A newer option, approved in the United States for the same area.

Which suits you depends on how you’ve responded to treatment before and your preference. We’ll talk it through rather than defaulting to whatever we have most of.

What to Expect

Treatment takes about fifteen minutes and most people go straight back to their day. Results appear gradually over several days rather than immediately, and they wear off over time at a rate that differs from person to person.

Common effects include temporary redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site, and occasionally headache. Less commonly, nearby muscles can be affected, causing a temporary droop in the eyelid or brow. Rarely, effects of the toxin can spread beyond the treated area. We’ll go through the full risks with you before you decide, and there are people for whom these treatments aren’t appropriate.

Our aim is a result that looks like you on a good day. Not frozen, not obviously done.

Common Questions

Do you offer Botox?

We carry Xeomin and Letybo. All three are the same class of treatment and work the same way — Botox is simply the most familiar brand name, the way people say Kleenex for tissues. If you’ve had Botox before, either of ours will feel familiar.

Not if it’s done well. The goal is softening, not erasing expression. We’d rather start conservatively and add than overtreat.

It varies by person and by dose. We’ll give you a realistic expectation at your visit rather than a number that may not apply to you.

Cosmetic treatment isn’t covered by insurance. We’ll tell you the cost upfront.

There are conditions and medications that make these treatments unsuitable, and they’re not recommended in pregnancy or while breastfeeding. That’s part of why a medical history matters.
